Total rain this storm by home measurement - 3.25 inches.

The air feels cold and crisp and the sky is cloudful

Drizzles, gloom, grey skies, freezing ice, and generally disgusting weather ...

December non-events that represent Winter.

I keep seeing reports of weatherful experiences

in the EA :hearthrobLand and points East & South.

And so many are holding back, why should I share mine?

Because it's my nature.

Total rain this season has been 4.5"

Most recent rain events much lighter than a couple weeks ago.

:( when this system passes, there are not more on the forecast.

I KNOW

some have had weatherful experiences unshared.

Rain. Sleet. Snow. Ice. Arctic Blast not a party. :(

Rain total here was 4 5/8" when the last series of light

storms passed. Mid and Northern California experienced floods.

That ended days ago.

( )o( )

This morning was a weatherful experience here in the O.C.

Fog so thick all morning even to 9AM one could not see 50'

Glad I wasn't driving in it.

We have had cold, wind, clear, sun, wind, now it's fog and damp, and warmer with rain moving in soon, turning to snow. Up and down, up and down. M

It was 9F here last night too. That's too damn cold. I stayed in all day today because it was too damn cold.

Yesterday (Wednesday) I got in my car to drive to a haircut and my phone screams a warning about a squall line. I drove about 6 miles and the squall hit. By the time I got myself out of the car, there was 1/4 inch snow, within 30 minutes in the barbershop, there was an inch. People leaving the parking lot were sliding and skidding their cars. When I left an hour later, the sun was out. It had stopped. I drove home at 25mph and slower.

Utterly ridiculous.

Tomorrow (Friday) it will reach 35F and mid 40's by the weekend. Christmas might be 50F.

Utterly ridiculous.
