Two words: Fucking wind.
I am so sick of this relentless wind that I could scream.
And often do...
I agree, Paolo. I hate the fukn wind. Its a head fuk. An earthquake wont blow your roof off. Or fill your workshop up with leaves. Fall here and am sad to admit, I bought a leaf blower, vac.
Summer arrived yesterday here after a miserable and dank, cold and rainy week of 45-50F temperatures. A big storm exploded up out of nowhere the day before, on a day forecast to be mild and sunny, and tore through the area. It was triggered by a wide swath of 85-92F air surging up the west side of Illinois almost up to Canada, according to Intellicast. Then all hell broke loose.
It's been a difficult baseball season in both photo and games. The weather forecasts are always wrong. Kids have been out trying to play in their hoodies and long underwear. I give it about two more years, and the idiots who run this circus will want to have opening day in January!
The heat index is near 90 today at 1pm, but it's expected to be 65 by Monday. We'll see.
We've had a cool, rainy couple of days also. I've seen years where by April the chaparral leaves were like pieces of paper baked in an oven and break brittlely to the touch. I like this a lot more. Pretty when AZ is like TN in the desert.
