After a week of record high temperatures and sunny skies

even a shorts & short sleeve T'giving

I viewed a marine layer I thought was off the coast.

As I drove the 1 mile to Pacific Coast Highway I was engulfed in fog.

Had it been night time, good luck driving type of fog.

Quite a change. And without wind either. Just the fog coming in on cats' feet.

I planted 4 or 6 kinds of spinach seed and planning on planting sweet shelling peas.

The pea seed is epigenome programmed as they are at least 5th generation saved as seed from last year, etc.

Wild seeding carrot and lettuce are sprouting. A resurrection grape tomato is coming up too as it has before.

Possible rain early Monday AM and rain around 4 days next weekend and beyond.

Another Federal Weather Bureau oopsy? Stay tuned.

Not to worry.

The snow pack is increasing and the reservoirs are filling.

Weather Happens

Just like Climate.

I think that he's referring to this:

Fog

BY CARL SANDBURG

The fog comes

on little cat feet.

It sits looking

over harbor and city

on silent haunches

and then moves on.

atta boy Dave.

How's your weather?

Frozen in yet?

Monday's rain was a no show and chances for rain this weekend

have evaporated from 50% to less than 5%. :(

The air is much cooler.

Spinach is sprouting. Gotta plant my sweet shelling peas.

Bok Choi is ready to pick if anyone wants some.

Pretty Boy, a large, bear pawed orange and white Tuxedo cat, and Floosie, the little dark, gray tabby are growing.

Pretty Boy really wants to be an outside cat. I guess I am going to have to let them try.

The front yard is circled with 4' stiff, wire fence . I have a loose piece corralling the front patio and Pretty Boy nudged it once to escape into the full fenced yard. Floosie likes outside but, isn't as bent on escape as adopted big brother.

They are the most gentle, don't break skin, cats I have known. I have taught cats when they make me bleed and how far they can take it but, both these kitties seem to "know".

That's warm for November.

I understand that is about to change as a major storm hits the northwest down to central California but, north of LA

passes a high pressure area and sweeps "winter" upon YOU. Check in as you can, remember Captain Byrd alone at his Antarctic radio station.

Another glorious chance of rain GWTW as a well placed High Pressure system causes the storms out of the north Pacific to passover LA and regions south. I still suspect Canadian Weather Warfare activity related to HAARP. At least this year they can't negatively impact the snow accumulation nor the reservoirs' water reserves. Those are filling nicely.

The air is dry, crisp, polluted. Rain would be nice.

And my spinach sprouts are being eaten by a squirrel 😠. Traps have been set.

Don't worry about Moi.

The fires are no where near.

Possibly the sight of smoke based smog in the distance over the ocean due to wind direction.

The forecast shows no let up in single digit humidity for over 10 days. Bad Winds variable.

They say it will be 80F this weekend here by the sea.

Relocated a squirrel that was eating my spinach sprouts.

How to bait the cage for a rabbit. Ideas? Too bad rabbits aren't suckers for peanut butter.

Well I read y'all have weather,

and admittedly If I had yours,

I'd rather not cop to it either.

Still dry although the wind is variable to none.

I doubt a moisture harvester from Tatoonie could wring a drop of water out of this atmosphere.

The sun burns although just the mid seventies. The night cold in the mid or low fifties.

Finally planted some sweet shelling peas. The rabbit and the squirrel devour my spinach sprouts. 😠

No rain in the ten day forecast.
