Here in the Western Pennsylvania area, we have had two weeks of really cold weather all winter. This is the second year that I have successfully avoided putting my snow tires on my car.
The weekend here was 32 degrees and tomorrow thru Wednesday will be in the 60's and Thursday and Friday will be cold again.
This is the kind of weather I expect to see in mid to late March not mid to late February.

Last year, we were having light frost all the up to the last week of May.
I experienced one of those April storms in Milwaukee.
The snow was very white and fluffy. Not powdery at all.
That was the year we had a February that got into the 50's
and I was in a T shirt throwing a frisbee in the park.
Truly liked Milwaukee but my body and cold did not get along.
I dressed warm. Kept the house warm and I still got
red, swollen finger joints.

Drove to Vegas yesterday. Mixed heavy snow and rain on the Colorado Plateau gave way to sun and a green veneer on the low desert. It has been a wet winter and the desert grasses are coming out. Hang in there easterners, spring is on the way.

Nah!
They are going to have a last week of March, Early April Snow event.
The last 2 rain storms dropped hardly a tenth of an inch of rain. The first passed north of me and the second, south.
The Apricot and front yard Peach tree are showing flowers while the Asparagus are not working yet.
The Sweet Shelling peas continue to grow like weeds and I lace them through tomato cages. The lettuce and corn, well they live.
Today was gray, with small deep gray clouds while a chance of rain is predicted tomorrow.
The 18 yo cat sleeps.
