Re: There's Always The Weather
Visibility at mid-afternoon was noticeably impared by the sky full of inch-big snow flakes lazily floating down. By night there was nothing left but wet streets. We are supposed to get a weekend full of storms. I have heard that Flagstaff (city or mountain?) will get two feet of snow by start of the week.
Re: There's Always The Weather
The warm front came through at around 2AM last night. Rain and wind and all sorts of drama. The price we pay for a run of near 60F days, I guess.

Re: There's Always The Weather
Numero deux of trois rain storms.
Each heavier than the last.
Wonderful. Wonderful.
Who will get the storms as these fronts move east?
Do tell. as it happens
BTW a rainstorm here is an inch of rain over one day.
With periods of clearing.
Hoping for a stalled front for a few days of glorious, rain rather than the hardly 24 hour visit.
I do love the rain.

Re: There's Always The Weather
Seems to Moi YOU are due for a significant nor'easter. E-yup
With our Greatest State of California 3 rain storms moving Maineward
and a well timed cold Siberian Express with Canadian transit privileges
y'could have a good one. Especially with some contribution from the Gulf Stream.
It is the end of January. Where do you get off being over freezing? 38F indeed.
Are you a coast hugger? Or we talkin' Maine, Ernie? Mainechusetts in the southern counties.
Well Maine did produce 2 outstanding Senators I know of. Margaret Chase Smith and Olympia Snowe.
No balls there. Go figure.

You're welcome.
Please aquafir my water for later use.
Nice rain this Sunday. Doppler radar has it in the dark green zones to light green over hours.
I wish for a major Orange Zone event. Truly.

Re: There's Always The Weather
62 degrees F today -- 22 January 2017.
What a strange winter.
On the good side -- I haven't put the snow tires on my car and I hope I won't have to.

Today it hailed for two hours. Under marble-sized but a rare occasion here.
