Me? I am doing fine.

See, I knew I should have moved to a slightly cooler climate like Minnesota :)

Feeling like an early Autumn but that Fall smell is not in the air

although it is cool and fresh.

25% chance of rain Tuesday, September 13. That's early, even if it don't happen.

My Prediction - we are in for a wickedly irritating Indian Summer in a few weeks.

One of my watermelons broke open. It was the size of a tennis ball. Red and sweet inside.

How does one know when a watermelon is ripe before picking or plugging it?

YES DEAR!

Of some 8 I have two that "tape" more hollow than others that tap solid.

One I believe is "seedless" and has its' stripes.

I never tried watermelon before and they were started late in the season.

Big plans are incubating for next season's watermelon crop.

Good to see you again, Mac :)

The Threat of precipitation passed with hardly more than a street wetting by sparse drizzle.

The atmosphere is clear and clean and I feel energized for the first time in months.

The smell of Autumn is still, not there and the pecans are growing bigger than last year.

3 Sugar Prune Plums are ripening too. First year for those.

I am still waiting for that "Indian Summer" oops, 🙄

"Native American Summer" that we usually experience.

Last year I didn't need a heavy shirt until December. This week I did. Hooray!
