Have YOU consider moving to more moderate climate areas within your budget?

The Central Valley up to Marysville, or Redding ain't much better and more polluted.

The Sierra Nevada are not that "cool" in the Summer either.

Humboldt County is suggested. Just inside the fog zone and above the 100 year flood zone.

Areas like Fortuna, Hydesville, Carlotta just south of Eureka / Arcata.

I chose these areas with consideration of your budget.

Beautiful country with crisp clean air, no snow, rain depending where you are.

A Safeway Supermarket in Fortuna that looks like it should be "high class" with great produce.

Costs of living probably similar to your current costs.

Yes we are in a stable, cooler time with a of 75F

but the air is polluted.

Not just from the fires.

Just that "gray" stuff over the ocean one might think is fog, until y'breath it.

Oxides of Nitrogen + H2O = Nitric Acid

Oxides of Sulfur + H20 = Sulfuric Acid

Acid Fog. No weather service function observes the pH of moisture suspended in the air.

And routine particulate observations would be nice too. Water helps suspend those.

My asthmatic tendencies can feel it.

And Mile Denver, Colorado is a center of Respiratory illnesses.

Oxygen is over rated I guess.

And that's the way it is, here at the desert by the sea where the Peter's Honey Figs are ripe and sweet.

After back to back hurricanes hit southern Florida in the early 90s, one guy in Homestead was being interviewed and they asked the standard question, "What are your thoughts now?" He said, "I am thinking of moving to Flagstaff, AZ."
