Yes, YOU people did get your cloud bursts.

But, all our rain has been spotty.

Not one of those storms that rains on hundreds of miles of California at the same time.

Wind. Nasty, penetrating, wind. Although the temperature and humidity are not numerically low,

it just feels nasty.

The wind may have destroyed most of my Apricot crop but, a few remain and new ones appear.

The really bad wind storm was on the blossoms some days old and full of bees.

Some days an Asparagus spear. Melts in your mouth down to the fibrous part and there the water is

asparagussy. I chew it and spit it out.

Loquats ripening. Sweet shelling peas are producing and the corn is 8" high with younger crops around the yards.

Sweet onions and garlic also well established. Trying some watermelon. Hardly into the second leaf from a seed.

Thank YOU all for your concerns expressed.

BTW

Moi is mourning the betrayal of RiverLava

Today about 5:30 pm we had lots of thunder, hailstones and heavy rain. Outside temp dipped to 39 F.

Brief snow yesterday morning. Looked like small hail, but was granular snow.

Clear day here lately - 50's in the morning to mid 70's in afternoon.

Some days of Humboldt County style gray and intermittent Oregon mist.

It took over a week to accumulate 1/4 inch, if that much.

The garden seems to like it.

Last year the garden simply, did not work.

This year it is better although the peach trees are suffering their disease and the plum have yet to wake up,

the pecan tree is having a good time.

No One has Weather ?

Well I ain't gonna share mine 😠

Best year for sweet shelling peas I have ever had except the shells are tender and

as sweet as the large peas inside them.

Loquats bend the trees and are rich with fruit because the Coyote & Bobcat that carried

off some pets too, probably cleaned them out. For the last 2 years, I never got ripe fruit

because critters do not share.

The above are weather effects, not weather. ;)

It was nice and sunny and warm here today.

I planted a red twig dogwood bush, an Alberta Fir, and did all sorts of other yard work.

Got hot, too. It was so nice.

About time for my once a year massive haircut and scalp exfoliation!

Sadly, even though it's wet and warm, the morel mushroom season pretty much failed due to freezing nights 2 weeks ago. I have the last of mine, about a pound of really ratty ones to eat, and then that's it for another eleven months.
