Just the opposite here, rained like hell all day, when it was not raining the humidity was over the top. It is finally cooling off at 7pm, the doors and windows are still all open and will be until about 10 when I go to bed. It
Yes even when it rains.

Olaf is now heading our way, Yes another hurricane in the pacific. For an area of the world that does not get many if any like one every 25 to 30 years, take note, this is 'O'laf heading our way.

Can't you even see a Jungian acausal association
of RiverLava moving to Hawai'i' and . . . . .
Recommended reading, recommended to me by a Bishop, truly.

It was over a meeting with few of us in the room and hours melted to minutes,
for my part it was about my, "Clairvoyant Attacks". My host was the attending M.D.
when "the Pope" spoke at L.A. Coliseum.
The Bishop seemed to comprehend I do not read, long, laborious, Jungian texts well.
this linked book was a great recommendation just like my luck to go to the Medical School that
invented synopsis textbooks. Truly. I need "concise".
Well?
What about it RiverLava DEAR
Association?
No Association?
Association beyond mortal comprehension, except in peeks and glimpses.

My once a month guest fears he may not make the drive from our Ranch Land area near Visailia to visit his parents this month because of sudden, thunderstorm closures of the I 5. No not the feeder artery 58, glorified in the news with floating vehicles, the I 5, like a carotid artery of California, shut down for "rain".
The 58 is laughable because it looks like it was built on a convenient dry river bed.
Come the water and, oopsy. They cannot hold back the mud with fences.
Such highways should be built on the high ground or on pillions.
And the 5 should be defended more better.
The Loquats are flowering.

Stay tuned, more weather to follow.

Re: There's Always The Weather
Olaf is a Cat4 Hurricane that is south east of us, it looks like its going to pass us by so we dodge yet another one however Patrica is now forming off the coast of Mexico so we will keep an eye out for it.
If you really want to get a good perspective of how big hurricanes are, go to Google Earth and flip on the weather - if Olaf were to come over the top of us at one point it would be over the entire chain of islands.
Aloha

Re: There's Always The Weather
Good News, the weather men got it right, Olaf is heading north and will miss us by many miles to the east.
Dodged another one.
The volcano that I live on is still active but not doing anything right now, we have had so much rain this summer into fall that the jungle has taken on a life of its own, just trying to keep ahead of the yard is a full time job. We have a bumper crop of oranges this year, we had none last year, the Pineapple plants are growing like crazy and the banana plants are doing very nice too.
Its just another wonderful day in Paradise.
Aloha

I wish it would rain here (while also not flooding everything) so the water would stop tasting so rank.
California needs to stop redirecting water for almonds and get real use out of it.
By, you know, fixing the drinking water?
It's beyond intolerable now.

And because you have done such a good job of conserving water your rates are going up because your not buying enough water. Go Figure.
I left California over 20 years ago and never looked back.

Re: There's Always The Weather
It snowed with rain - sleet - this afternoon in Minneapolis. Of course nothing stays around.
