Re: There's Always The Weather
Today we too are finally getting some relief, its been in the low 90's and very humid, today back to the low 80's and almost no humidity. The hurricane passed us by and the next one is turning to California so MacWolf will need to duck and cover. (not really he is well inland from the sea). The only problem with the weather now is the hay fever is back, I have been sneezing all day. You never win.

The Drought must be over.
Witness: ". . . . . site where hundreds of new homes are planned." (Carlsbad, California)

They wouldn't build hundreds of new homes while there is a drought
and I am mandated to conserve,
would they?
I figure the drought must be over.
How else can you figure?
High seventies here with mild humidity. No fresh autumny scent in the air as there was weeks ago.
I harvest a spear of three of fresh asparagus / day. They are so tender I just eat them in the yard as I cut them.
Would it be wise to cut the ferny growth now to better spot the autumn crop of spears. Please advise.

Some say "Why?"
I say, " Um, I forget".

Here at the desert by the sea in the county of Orange it is the first "sweet" air in a long time.
5F cooler and it "feels" so much nicer.

Sorry Sandi, we just passed ya. It's 95 outside. You're welcome to it
The hottest part of the day here seems to be from 3 and 430 pm.

Re: There's Always The Weather
We "only" hit 100°F here today. The next few days are expected to be hotter! According to the local weather-guesser, though, the humidity was only 5%. Fortunately Northern California is like a desert this year, not a sauna.
