MacTheWolf

is scheduled for a "heat emergency" Friday, and this W'end.

Stay tuned here -

Wolfie, remember Admiral Byrd there all alone at his weather station,

over come with carbon monoxide fumes he still did his duty.

Keep those weatherful "heat emergency" reports coming in.

High here is about 80F with episodes of cloudless humidity and fresh air.

AND the

"Godzilla" of El Nino is forecast with rains beginning in October.

Wolf's turf doesn't drain any better than New Orleans at high tide without pumps!

We should hear some really weatherful reports then.

Oh crap, why didn't somebody tell me I was living in a fracking desert. The temperature today was 105 damn degrees.

I'll gladly trade Paolo living locations.

It has only been in the mid-90's here this week but I was still suffering. Today, I found out why. My pads on my swamp cooler were dry as a bone. I called a plumber who was there in 30 minutes and told me it was the water pump on my swamp cooler. I shelled out $130 for the installation of the new water pump and now my house is cooler. Maybe I'll survive August after all.

Surviving Moi, however…………………………….:)

And We are due for another warm up.

Not to worry, it will not be as bad for Moi

Pray it is an Early Indian, excuse me Native American, Summer 😄

However, please remember when this El Nino strikes - YOU are in a desert. Deserts don't drain.

Deserts form "lakes".

Read me now and believe me later.

I slept in till 3:52 pm. It was warm in my apartment so I went out to check my swamp cooler. THe pads were getting plenty of seater so it was trying to cool my place. As I stood in front on my unit from the inside, it was putting out coolish air. Given a choice, I'd rather be in Indiana with Paolo watching the rain come down.

Current temperature here is 96 degrees.

After the very heavy rains last night, it felt like a cold, blustery fall day here today.
