Hoodies are not allowed in these states. Only hoods in the state capitols are allowed.

Dark gray and black storm clouds drift at different strata across the turquoise blue sky while cool,

pleasant strong winds blow pretty consistently from the West over the oceanward. 60F

Maybe 0.25" aqueous precip for me they say.

Could it be "The Blob" of coastal water's warmth along the Pacific coast?

The climate is weatherful and I am enjoying it.

That stormy feeling.

Will it count as "water"? Probably not. Everyone is too psyched up on da drought to witness a silver lining.

Moi one or even a dozen rain storms will not help you, never did. You need 20 to 30 feet of snow in the Serra's from Mammoth Mt to the Oregon boarder.

That's Sierra, not Serra, to you buster.

Consider: http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=buzzkill

The air is fresh, the wind is brisk, I got my quarter inch of rain. The waves at the beach were huge.

Yet we are not allowed to enjoy such weatherfulness without some

broadcaster crashing the high.

I bet such would even frown if witnessing

The alternative is to enjoy the moment

then return to the dirge of drought tunes.

Mammoth got an extra foot of snow; ski resorts are now staying open an extra week.

Rain Is a Comin'

More News at Eleven.

My neighborhood has always been a good one for Lemons and Peaches.

This year the Peach Trees are all failing. Old Trees, New Trees, Once Productive Trees.

Weakly blossoming if at all and weakly leafing from the bottom up.

Yet my Apricot tree is glorious, loaded with "Royal Apricots" although they seem a bit smaller than usual.

BTW Should an Asparagus Patch be thinned?

Or the number of long fronds from one root system? Gracias.

These Asparagus with a 1/4"+ diameter are so tender they melt in your mouth. No cooking unless y'want them tougher.

I get several cups of ripe soft Boysenberries a day from a little patch between the side walk and the street.

Placed there to keep them corralled. It is hardly 6' long and 2' wide.

Only one raspberry is barely working, the rest and the blackberry barely thrive. Yet the Boysenberry loves it here.

It rains every day here, as a matter of fact its raining now, no big deal, so it rained. AND? You are still in a drought, what ever rain you got will not change that, it will not make any difference over the long hot dry summer.

It was hot and humid all day, 80's plus slight overcast, very little breeze, Oh I wish it would rain. If it did I would go run in it like a little kid.
