I guess I should be happy with 50F.

We had one nice sunny day of 75F, but then it was back to winter again.

Still have flannel sheets and 5 blankets on the bed.

Aloha Paolo, you should move here, its warm most of the time and you would have plenty of places to take pictures.

Its overcast this morning, kind of foggy with just this wonderful cool breeze. I have the doors open and I am enjoying the birds singing as I drink a pot of tea.

Of course Paolo would have on his long johns and a hoody but it is a wonderful morning.

I think the thing I like the most about Hawai'i is its so peaceful.

Pleasant days here due to get less pleasant as the temperature rises to RiverLava levels. The 80's.

Clipped an asparagus spear with a 3/4" stem. I mean thick.

So, so tender. Who needs to cook 'em.

Some raspberries from bare root vines I got at Home Depot are ripening while

the boysenberries are just beginning to ripen.

Loquats, Loquats, Loquats everywhere. Apparently I eradicated the local rats and squirrel via life catch and removal to the Back Bay Nature preserve. Some rats were also killed in "death traps".

Asparagus shoots that thick are as woody as lumber. Have to steam them to soften them up. I will only cut or buy the small shoots - 1/4 inch or so. If the people at the farmers market or grocery put out the thick stuff, I keep on walking.

There's no such thing as eradicating rats. They'll always be back. Kind of pointless relocating them...

WTF!!?? A snow shower moved through a little earlier and left about an inch. Not even going to get above freezing today. At least the few inches we got on Monday is about gone. Next week the weather is supposed to match the calendar a little better.
