Close as I can figure it rained on and off all night but about 4am it was a down poor and has not stopped raining although it is a bit lighter and its cold, yes cold down to 68.2 d and I cant see the ocean or mountains this morning which is most unusual. Burr, not a good day for t-shirt shorts and sandals, I know maybe I will ware shoes. :)

I wonder how Moi is doing after the hail storm yesterday?

No Hail here.

A very nice rain and a few days of soft, sunny warmth.

Truly, The Land of the Lotus Eaters.

Got Motivation? You probably don't live here 😄

Today I have been planting a couple of Tomato plants and a Raspberry plant.

The sweet shelling peas are growing vigorously and the loquats are somewhat ripe without bitterness

if you know to go for the Orange ones and not the Bright Yellow ones.

80F and so dry I can see Catalina Island from my bedroom

Finally turned on the A/C to get the warm house down to livable.

I know 80F is still 4 degrees too cold for RiverLava but I miss the sweater weather of a week ago.

How's your winter eastern folks. Share.

Finally talking of high temperatures near seasonal average. Have had night temps around zero or below. Only 3 days this year with high temps of 40. have about half as much snow on the ground as we had at this time last year but still way too much.

We've had one-third the normal snowfall, but high school hockey isn't over yet, so who knows. Sposed to be in the 50s next week! can deal with that: T-shirts , short pants, and sandals.

Some moisture in the air and cooling temperatures have made for a sweet atmosphere.

Due to get hot and dry soon.

Rain about 7.5 inches this season. No March Miracle seems to be in store.

Maybe April Showers will arrive.

I would hope for a total of 13 inches although I have witnesses years of over 30.

Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing

Memory and desire, stirring

Dull roots with spring rain."

It's the new Hawaiian Glacial Field developing.

I hear they are shipping in penguins from the South Pole.

Or maybe that was Penguins summer camp for hockey players. I might have misread that article.

If you ask nicely, Burma will send you a few yeti to frolic in the ice and snow.
