The barometer cycles now, 2/10" up in a few hours then 2/10" down.

The last, 5/10" down, not a Santa Ana Wind, wind was followed by a Santa Ana Wind and 2/10" up. Now it is down 2/10" again the sky is full of another dissolving rain event. I have notice my non events still translate to a powerful event as it moves eastwards.

My veggie boxes really dried out in the wind and I saturated them with water. My daily hand hose watering still fell behind their needs. The new Babcock peach is loaded with fruit and some caterpillar like critter is curling itself in a reacting leaf. I mean the leaf develops bulges and changes shape.

I pluck the leaves off the tree and toss them to "death".

Only 7 apricots. Next year I rent bees.

Loquats loaded and ripening. The Fuji apple is still unsure if it wants to wake up.

The cats sleep.

Did I tell you I planted a big tomato plant in my neighbors front yard. No permission.

I love the "green".

I like working with plants too, indoor is my thing as I am the potted plant guy. Right now I only have 3 plants in 2 pots however when I was in St Louis I had over 35 potted plants, I love the green too. I can't wait until Mid May when I can start my tomato's in their upside down planter. Yes I would like to start now but it snowed 3 inches today, today April 11th, yes snowed most of the day.

Gray, gray day. Almost feels like coastal Humboldt county. Another rain non event.

The confluence of the gray clouds seems to have a wave appearance, like looking at a gray ocean.

At 1 PM a fog was barely visible but, walking down the street left mini droplet prints on the glasses.

The cats sleep. At least 4 rats at one time have visited the bird seed under the bird feeder.

No problem, there scent will help keep OFBK in the back yard when it warms up.

The Loquats are now turning "sweet". Two or three a day is about it.

In Seattle it rains. It's pretty much a constant eight months a year. But in terms of quantity we don't really get that much, less than Kansas City. Which meant that while it may rain constantly, it seldom rains very hard at any given time. Natives seldom carry an umbrella, since you can take a half hour walk in the rain and just come in glistening with water. Growing up in Colorado I could get wetter running 15 feet from car to house in an average thunderstorm. And we only rarely get thunderstorms or hail. Plus this Seattle winter has had no snow at all, nothing white.

Left apt today to drive from Capitol Hill to my U District Green store, normally about seven minutes. Partly cloudy, sun shining, with black clouds. There was a sudden thunder clap. People on street looked around for explosion.Suddenly there was a downpour w/ much hail about size of BBs. cars throwing up huge rooster tails, Traffic on freeway slowed to about 25; visibility terrible, even with wipers going full tilt. By the time I got to U District. There were 2 inches of very white hail on the ground covering everything looking exactly like midwinter snowstorm but with trees leafing out in bright green. Cars were fishtailing going up step hills. It lasted about ten minutes. But by time I got back to the Hill, everything was melted. Sun to 2 inches of hail to melted all in the space of an hour. Not usual Seattle weather.

I opened rollerskating season today. I thought, that it was warm and dry enough, but looks like +6°C is too cold for that. I ended up freezing after 25 minutes. Anyway, the season is opened.

It is no longer February, 60, it is April, 15.

One thing lacking, is rain, even better strong rain for a few days, to clean up the city from dust.

It is April 17th, its been SPRING for over a month, and its cold and raining, tomorrow is more cold and snow, Friday more snow and cold, Fuck Spring bring on Summer.

When I first moved up here I found out that the planting season did not start until May 15th, well it may be June 15th before we get anything in the ground, Harvest this year may not be until October if were lucky.

Hawaii is sounding better and better every day.

Around me had a spring thunderstorm last night.

Lots of lightning (a strike nearby that I saw the flash and immediately heard the crack), thunder, rain, and no hail. Sorry. Not this April storm. But a 2 minute power outage.

The grass is now green and the tree have budded out.

It made it up to 80F today.

Stormed last night, with hail, wind, lightning, and all the drama. Again early this morning. Again tonight. As with the night before.

The lightning was very odd; it was orange/red.

Even out in the country, cloudy, storming of course, with no nearby lights, it was not dark outside - and this was well after midnight. I could clearly see the white garage and across the neighbors' yard.

Small BB sized, hail, though. No damage. A LOT of rain, too.

Friday, it's back to the 50's again for a week or so.

This spring so far has sucked.
