If your cab is not air-conditioned please drink plenty of fluids and take breaks on those hot days. Put a fan in the cab with you if you can.

Well nigh froze my ass (not my balls) off in northern Minnesota last 2 nights. 40-42F both nights. Rained last night, as well. Coffee sure was good the following mornings.

Still summer but the drought is broken.

High 80's low mid-50's to low 60's...enough rain now...grass is green again...it is comfortable...mild.

A Divine weather message is coming to those who similarly explain others floods or droughts.

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/hur ... d=17057501

Aug. 22, 2012

Hurricane Isaac, currently a tropical storm brewing southeast of Puerto Rico, is on track to hit Florida the same day that Mitt Romney and 50,000 Republican delegates, journalists, protestors and guests descend on Tampa for the Republican National Convention.

We know the message; should the convention be terminated due to flooding, power outages, etc. ;)

I have this little lime tree that hibernated the last 2 years.

It finally put out a crop of new leaves and buds.

Then today I saw all the new leaves covered, I mean totally covered with white mildew.

I thought citrus had enough natural acid in its' system to fight off mildew and such, but I learned better. Dreary, humid air. Some cloud cover from the Pacific Northwest influence but the winds and air is continuing to show that tropical influence. :( :( :(

This is not the California desert by the sea in my universe. Too humid.

I'd rather have near ten degrees more and dry Santa Ana Winds being the culprit then this tropical paradise ? ? .

A few sweet Mission figs every day. Not much happening in the vege department except carrots. About half are bad. The good ones taste like carrot. Lemons are perking along. A few blossoms and a few green fruits with lots of large yellow lemons available for picking.

I envy those who got rain.

It isn't that the air is polluted but, rather I crave sweet fresh air and this stuff feels like the inside of a department store.

Hope for a soft, wet, gorgeous Autumn. Bring on El Nino. :)
