Ok Moi, you started this thread, so this heat wave is all your fault. When is it going to end? I'm tired of triple digits. BTW, I'd appreciate some rain too.

The drought is broken in Paolo - A-1 land.

It rained the last couple of days. Not enough, but a nice start. Today the temperature is in the low 80's high, upper 50's tonight. Last night it got down to 52 with a high of 78 yesterday.

Slept with the windows open last night and it was cool. Felt pretty good.

The drought has already done its damage. With rainfalls less than half the annual average for the year trees are dying everywhere. The corn is puny. The beans don't look too bad, but they yields will be low.

Farmers need help to survive since it has been proven that large corporations running farms function more like Communist cooperatives than free enterprise.

Money begets money and Ryan and Romney run their mouths about their bullshit. I have no time for merciless fools.

Actually, it's 79F here with some humidity, feels like 82, and I'm fine so long as I'm out in the sun. In the shade, I start shivering...

Maybe a faulty thyroid?

I got the room down to 72 last night, and had to have a blanket.

...but the best part is that the rains are returning, nothing drastic, just some decent rains. We are supposed to get more tomorrow...
