The clamp will tighten up to completely flat and totally cuts off all circulation, and there is a slot for insertion of a knife to seperate the tissues. Not an instrument to be dallied with but a necessary tool in the surgeons toolkit and of course standard equipment in hospitals. Come to think of it, it was probably purchased ten years ago now and it cost £160 then.

Hmm, now I'm curious. Are there any cutters who use this sort of device? I'm guessing you clamp it on the scrotum very tightly, then slide the knife through the slot (severing the scrotum and testicles), then leave the clamp on until it heals?
