Lots and lots of snow here. Got another 3" today. I'm praying for a massively disruptive week-long blizzard.

Me too, 3 to 4 ft of snow would be nice.

I do believe we got a whole sixteenth of an inch of rain. Maybe only one thirty second of an inch over some hours.

The air was salty smelling during the rain and sweet, post thunderstorm after.

Still drying out from the S. California deluge. 😄

Honestly, I love the rain and wish the storm was more productive and stormy.

My crabgrass blooms in the spring and dies shortly thereafter revealing the tripartite leaves of poison ivy.

IS it SNOWING up there yet, River?

YOU are going to get a king-sized BLIZZARD and you do not have to go to the Dairy Queen to get it, either...

Just looked, it would seem we have 4 or 5 new inches this morning and its still snowing :D I love it when it snows, everything is so clean and pure. (it also covers up the dog poop which can not be picked up because its frozen to the ground) Of course come spring there is one day to clean the yard then get the garden ready for planting. :D

You see most people my age that have lived here all there life find this old but this is still new to me, I have never lived in a place that had snow on the ground all winter. I am like a little kid wanting to go play in it. The animals love the snow too, the dog next door loves playing in the snow, jumping diving into it, rolling in it, sticking her head in it and throwing it up in the air.

You see its a state of mind, I love it so for me its not a bad thing, for me its something wonderful. I would as soon have snow as rain, rain is a pain in the ass, but its nice too. I guess I love it so much because I have lived in places that it did not snow or rain, I could never live in a place like that again.
