Thanks guys. I really appreciate the kind wishes. I also wonder where Paolo found the picture of me to use in his greeting. It looks recent.

At my 50th birthday party, the greeting was “50 down and 50 to go!” At 60, the greeting was simply “Happy birthday.”

All I can say is that the only bad thing I’ve found about aging so far is that stupid mistakes take longer to heal. (I don’t plan to take up motorcycle racing or skydiving at this point.) Most everything else gets better as it goes.
