Re: Midwest MOM event for 2011
I'm sorry I'll miss the exotic dancing performed by the famous maiden known as Daughter

The kabobs and no-sugar pie were great.
Our youngest guest was not quite 1 year old - Daughter's lovely baby. No exotic dancing, Macwolfie, sorry!
Mommyhood will do that to you, I guess!

To our gracious hosts, I cannot say enough 'thank you's' for all that you did.
It is always the high point of my year to come and reunite with you all.

was it ever, I am not going to eat today as I need to recover from the weekend of eating.
Have you ever been eating where the food was so good that when you were full you still went back for more because you had no will power to stop.
That was this weekend.

As always, a good time was had by all. Good food, great camaraderie. My annual chance to spend time with some of my favorite people.
For me, the high point was time spent with Uncle Flo's grandson. Daughter said that he was having a crabby day – there may have been 10 or 12 minutes all day when he wasn't smiling! The neighborhood biker gang (ages about 6 to 12) dropped by for soft drinks. But, mostly we just enjoyed talking....
