oops

Post by Slammr (imported) »

I had to delete this story, so I thought I'd post the whole thing here:

I was in 2nd year uni at malibu U and i had just met this girl Johana she tied me up a cut off my balls the end.

Sorry, your story was a little too short to meet our requirements for posting on the story board, but I didn't want the world to miss out on this literary masterpiece.

"...I was at university in a small southern town when I met bubba, the biggest, burliest man I had ever seen. He was gap toothed with a few missing teeth, but with a smile that would melt the heart of any NASCAR fan from 500 feet. Nothing turns me on like the moonshine laced breath of a guy that looks like he came right out of the movie Deliverance. So I handed him my knife and he cut my balls off.

The end"

Can I have that story posted? ;)

How about a contest for the best EA story that can fit in, shall we say three tweets. That would be 420 characters. I am sure some here could improve on this sample.

As a model for Transward’s challenge to the Archive community, a joke that’s probably as old as River or MacWolfie:

A college class was told they had to write a short story in as few words as possible. The instructions were that the story had to contain the following three things:

(1) Religion,

(2) Sexuality, and

(3) Mystery

Below is the only A+ short story in the entire class.

“Good God, I’m pregnant; I wonder who did it.”

Can anyone here top that for brevity and staying on (castration) topic???

One could update it for the political and biological currents of the twenty first century as follows:

“Good God," he said, "I’m pregnant; I wonder who did it.”

Deciding the original story was too wordy, I condensed it.

"Why, Johana?" the new eunuch asked.

If writing a story to meet this challenge, I would recommend posting it to this board not to the story archive.
