Re: alternatives to Inhouse Drugstore?
I think most post offices X-ray the mail that comes through. Pills are going to show on the x-ray and cause you grief. And pills in tiny plastic cups will rattle and cause the postal employees to be suspicious.
In the USA, you can't mail anything over 13 ounces unless you show up at the Post Office and present it to a clerk.
Don't take that personally. It's the result of terrorism. A whole bunch of people received letter bombs and quite a number of federal employees received anthrax in the mail. One died and ever since, there are rules.
Sorry to say -- you are perfectly innocent and will suffer for their misdeeds.
Is it possible you could travel to another country and fill a prescription personally?

One can get in trouble for giving one's own prescription drugs to someone else. I damn sure wouldn't ship any through customs to another country.

I actually didn't know that the customs are so strict with stuff like that. Of course I don't want to get my friend into any kind of trouble.
It sucks really. I mean, the treatment laws and customs for transgenders suck in Finland. Sure, you're lucky if you're an FTM or a MTF, but if you don't belong to either sex then you're out of luck because there are two cities in Finland where they diagnose people (Helsinki and Tampere) and I've been told that at least in Helsinki they will not diagnose people who belong to the third sex. And that means that I can't get a prescription for any kind of antiandrogenic drug, let alone be surgically castrated.
It sucks real bad. I don't know about how they treat transgenders in the Tampere unit, but from what I've heard is that they won't allow people living in Helsinki area to get diagnosed in Tampere.
Well, I'm meeting my trans-councelor next month and also my new psychologist in about a month or two. It just pains to wait even more after all this waiting I've already done. I've been basically waiting since last November and sometimes I feel like nothing's changed. And when I finally think something's about to change, it won't change after all. I just wish I lived in the UK...

I'm sure there are many of us who would welcome you into the UK, but there's no guarantee that our customs will continue to allow prescription drugs to be imported by end users. There's also a very long way to go before guys who want to do the 'male to eunuch' journey will be recognised by the medical profession either. I'm trying to encourage some conversation on the subject in my thread Safer non SRS elective castration http://www.eunuch.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=18363.
I like to think that things are improving though. Homophobia is being actively discouraged in schools and workplaces these days and hopefully transgender people are not being given quite such a hard time as they were. Doctors are a bit of a conservative lot (IMHO) but by the sound of some of the responses to my thread (mentioned above) a a few of them are sympathetic to, or at least not totally unwilling to embrace the idea of, non SRS castration.

If you take a trip tp St.Petersburg I would think you can get anything there. In Spain also you can get Androcur from any farmacy.

Not anything. And not from all pharmacies. And do not expect to find androcur in big quantities in any pharmacy. I ordered mine (and got it in about two days, if I remember correctly).vanaker (imported) wrote: Thu Jul 15, 2010 12:03 pm If you take a trip tp St.Petersburg I would think you can get anything there.

Re: alternatives to Inhouse Drugstore?
So far, for almost a year, I have had no problems getting Siterone (eg. Androcure) through Inhouse. And it works very well. But the cost is more than I can afford. Thus, I am going to try an alternative over the next few months that I hope will kill my ball's ability, for once and for all, to produce testosterone (maybe even kill them completely). I would prefer castration, but only a procedure that is medically safe, which seems questionable or unlikely.

Sad Lizard (imported) wrote: Wed Jul 14, 2010 1:26 am Thanks for the replies. It is unfortunate that the situation has to be like this. But a great thing is, my friend at the States told me that he would be willing to order the drugs for me and then send them to me. That is something I'm looking forward to. I have only one question: Is it safe to send drugs by mail? I mean, could the custom officers somehow figure out that random package contains drugs and then dispose of the contents? I guess I'm just being paranoid, but I want to make sure that there is absolutely no chance I will not be getting the drugs this way.
I don't think you understood my post -- customs DOES detect pills in random mail. I have many times been given notices that they have refused entry to things shipped to me. The packages look like regular packages and except that they come from overseas (sometimes Europe, sometimes Asia) there is nothing else to tip them off to an unusual package.
So I'm pretty sure they are X-raying the packages or something.
Do NOT have your friend ship them as they risk drug charges which can be pretty severe. Let the pharmacy take the risk, and you take the risk, but it is not fair to involve your friend.
You're not being paranoid. Customs in Canada and Finland will catch over half of pills shipped to you.

Re: alternatives to Inhouse Drugstore?
The problem with Inhouse ist that the ship from vanuatu and the custom knew that drugs are sent form those islands. I ordered my second lot in June, the first delivery was lost and the replacement got sized by the custom office. Does anybody know an online pharmacy that doesn't ship from exotic places?

I was wrong, they didn't confiscate my delivery, they only wanted me to pay the VAT
