Being Circumcised on Saturday

I am new here. Instead of a formal introduction I want to tell about my cicumcision:

A few years ago I had hernia. I looked in the internet for clinic who is specialiesed on hernia operations. I found one in another town. They offered also cicumcision. Because I had the desire to become circumcised for a long time, I thougt this is a good opportunity to get the cicumcision together with the hernia operation. So the circ would be done under general anesthesia and I would save recovery time, when both operations were done at once.

The clinic I selected was run by two surgeons. In the pre op meeting I told them my desire that I want circumcision, want all of the inner foraskin removed and the shaft skin made very tight. The older surgeon advisesed me against this plan. He meant 2 operations at once would charge my body too much, but the younger one did not see any problems and so a few days later we went on.

When I awoke from anesthesia if found my my penis with about an half inch of inner foreskin, loose shaft skin and ande the scare very lopsided. I calmed myself down by the thought, that I should wait the healing to jugdge the result finally . But before the healing came a disagrable complication was awaiting me.

After 5 days I was released from hospitial an 1 day later my penis' right side become swollen and devoloped a strange smell. Another day later there was a storng, pulsative pain in my penis and I could hit to roof, because the sutures were cutting into the infected flesh. Unfortunally it was Saturday and no doctor was in his office. But to go to ER with that problem I was too shameful. So I took a smal side cutter and cutted 3 sutures, what gave me a little release. On Monday I visited a surgeon nearby ( I was neither able to walk much, nor to drive a car), but he could (or didn't want to) help me.

After one week this horror was gone and the wound began to heal. But there was a big and fleshy scare left left on the right side of my penis. I also realised that my frenulum was only partly removed and the bottomside of my glans looked like a cockscomb. I was so unhappy with the outlook of my penis. Still I hoped, that with the time it will look better. So I stood every day naked in front of the mirror. But nothing changed. In front of the mirror I only realized, that it could be seen from far distance that something is wrong with my penis. I started to hate that doctor who has done this with me.

But this is not the end of the story. About one year later I found on a circumcision related website the address of surgeon who is specialised on circumcision. He promised me to be able to help and also explained, that in his office the risk of an infection will be much lower than in a hospital. So the thing was done and as I had my first masturbation after 4 weeks. I was satisfied with the result, optically and fuctionally.

He cuuted away all scary tissue and left as much inner foreskin as possible (about 1cm). This is important, if someone wants good feeling by fucking, because with the time the glans becomes to numb to serve well for that purpose. And he made it almost tight, so that in flabby stage, the shaft skin can cover the the inner foreskin a little. The penis now looks circumciesed, but not unnaturally striped. But in errected stage it is sufficiant tight and the shaft skin does not move much forward and back.

I am happy with this result, because it is a good compromise. A high circumcision (min 2cm inner forskin) gives better feeling, but looks strange, a low cicumcision (max 0.5cm inner foreskin) looks natural, but on cost of the feeling. Tight ist always good, cause the fucking feeling is better, if the shaft skin does not move.

I hope @manc-wannabe you already have got your cicumcision. It's nice to be circumcised.

Was a complication on Saturday - the anesthetic did not work. Despite several injections of lidocaine, the frenum wasn't numb. When the doctor touched it with a scapel, I nearly hit the roof. He didn't want to inject any more anesthetic as he was worried that it didn't work and that I had an allergic reaction to the lidocaine.The evening after the appointment, I could barely stand peeing - it burnt that bad and my penis was very swollen. 2 days after the attempt, the swelling has gone down, but it still hurts like mad to pee. As such, its back to square 1 whilst we work out what to do now. Benzocaine could be used, as could general anesthetic, but he's worried about any allergic reactions my body could have to them, given the swelling is larger than would normally be expected. He's talking to an anesthetic expert today and if he can sort that out, its been rescheduled for next saturday. Soo annoying it didn't happen as planned

Does topical lidocaine work on you? I can completely (I mean really completely where you can cut, burn or pierce and not even know it is happening) using 5% lidocaine cream (available on Amazon in US). Anyway, it would be a way to test whether lidocaine works and also whether you are allergic to it. Lidocaine is so effective for me, I'm surprised to hear of your experience.

I went under general for my circumcision. However, that has its own risks and dangers, so I'm not really advising to do it particularly. For example, one thing is you need someone to drive you home and so I had to let in my cousin on what I was doing so he could give me a ride.

Wow, that's an old post of mine. I never went ahead with the Circ, because of the complications with local anesthetic. When I eventually got castrated, 10 days ago, I was worried I'd have the same problem again. The first injection of lidocaine again didn't work, but a second round of injections did the trick. The Dr said he'd go ahead and test if the anesthetic was working, and the next thing I knew, he was tying off the cords to the right testicle ready for removal. Very glad it worked. Now my balls are gone, I think that's it for surgery down there. I may get the scrotum removed as/when funds allow, but since being cut, the idea of a penectomy or circumcision no longer appeals. I'm very happy with the equipment that I've got left. It's odd how these things work eh?

Getting circumcised or even getting an orchie now seems pretty available and straight forward. However....how in the world can I get a glansectomy? Considered less invasive than an orchie, but must be done correctly of course. Surely there is a way to make this happen safely but my extensive searching has so far failed. Any ideas? Hi Manc, could you give me some tips on where i can get an orchiectomy in Europe, as you did? i am also in the UK, and have been trying to find a place to get the op for ages, since USA is too far to travel. i did the injections, but unfortunately they didnt work well for me, so i just want to get the op and be done with it. Any help would

Well, from my personal experience and previously recognizing I have a major fetish with Circumcision, I think, this procedure has a lot of perks in terms of health and aesthetics for all the meanings involved so, I deeply endorse and advocate any interest a man could have - at free will -, about this subject because indeed is a modification that will change anyone's life for the best.

However, I'd like my Circumcision to be revised so that way I could modify it to a very Hight and Tight one because it looks wondrous and based on the information available, it certainly will reduce the sensitivity on your penis but at the same time will give you a more endurance during the sexual intercourse while providing you with the benefit of a taut skin on any friction or caress or gropping.

For those reasons I think you're about to experience (if it's not that you already lived it), a genuine Rite of Passage into what I name as a Male Sexual Perfection given how, from then on, you'll be aware about the full exposure of the glans and the inner foreskin as well as that kind of ideal nudity any man should appreciate in his body so don't be afraid and better enjoy this unique moment of your life that for the rest, the healing proccess is fast and there are some prescriptions destined to prevent erections while at it.

I know this is an old thread but is relivent. I got diagnosed with suspected BXO. A skin disease that affects the forskin. It's not an sti and the cause is unknown. I was referred to a private urologist yesterday and he confirmed the diagnosis of BXO. you can use steroid creams to slow progression but eventually the disease takes over. So I was given a choice to see how long it takes to progress or get the diseased skin removed now

I opted for the later which means circumcision. I was surprised when I was bookin in for just 2 weeks time. I was lucky that my local hospital does not have a urologist who specialises in BXO so the NHS have funded private treatment for mE

I am a little nervous to say the least. In two weeks I will have been cut. I have a very long foreskin and the nature of the disease means all of the skin must be removed resulting in a low and tight style.

It's going to be a big change.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with a similar condition? Would be good to hear how your circumcision went.

Never had the condition, but had a tight circ at the time the nuts were pruned.

I had a high and tigh-ish circ recently as part of my tidy up after getting the balls removed.Had it done at a clinc just outside london.It was a very enjoyable experience, no pain, no infection and good healing.Unfortunately I was not satisfied with the tightness. I complained to the Doc who has agreed to recirc me free of charge in a couple of weeks. This time I will make sure there is no loose skin left.The sensitivity is down post circ and I am hoping to reduce it still further this time.
