Androcur

I've read many of the postings about Androcur and on the advice of others on the board trying chemical castration prior to seeking the physical version makes sense. I have two questions I hope any one out there can help. First, what is the dosage that I need to start taking? 50mg 1x aday, 50mg 2x a day, 100mg once a day, or should I start off with a higher dose and taper to 100 or 50mg a day?

2nd question is a little more specialized. I don't exactly want to bring it up with my Dr. so I'm hoping someone else may have experienced this situation:

I am 28 yrs old 212lbs 6'1" tall (sorry not good with the metric versions so didnt list 'em) I have moderately high blood pressure and I am currently taking a beta-blocker to treat the HBP. Does anyone know if Androcur will interact with a beta-blocker or if Androcur has been know to increase one's blood pressure.

A prompt responce would be appreciated as I am only awaiting these answers before I place my first order for Androcur. And as I'm sure everyone knows if you have the extra cash for something and you don't use the cash, something else always comes along and depletes the reserve.

Hello. I started taking 50mg of Androcur twice a day. I did this for about two weeks and then cut back to 50mg once a day. This seemed to cut my libido way down. There have been posts before where people have stated that they reduced their intake and eventually had to build it back up due to their body building a resistance to the drug. I can't tell you about that. I took it for a little over 30 days. I thought I had ordered more in plenty of time. However, it's been over two weeks now since I've had any Androcur. It does have a lasting effect however.

I can't find anything about it affecting your blood pressure. Try the following web site and do a search for Androcur. They will have a complete guide for the drug which talks about dosages, side effects, etc. It's www.inhousepharmacy.com.

That is the place where I ordered my first round of Androcur from and it was here within 7 or 8 days. The place from New Zealand,

anagen.net is cheaper but their service sucks. It took them 10 days or so just to process the order. Now it's been 20 days since they processed it and it still hasn't arrived.

I've been using Spironolactone 200mg a day. It seems to be cheaper than androcur and it has an anti-hypertensive [lowers blood pressure] and anti-androgen effect. It's usual dosage is between 100-400mg/day. Do a search at Drugs.com and it will list any drug interactions and side effects.
