Chat Room On Line With Restrictions

Can anybody answer me a question please, over the past months I found people are asking for private chat with me, when I reply to them I hear nothing more back, ok afew people will just delete as there not interested ok. but over the past months not one person has responsed back which now would be around 30 or more people by now, even regular people I chat with arn't replying, so is there something wrong with the chatroom set-up, my pc, or java? I'm sure that everybody can't be ignoring me, I've missed out on what could be some interested chats.

so is it me, or something else?

Please help.

Many get very offended if one starts a private message with out asking in the lobby first. Many will just ignore the person. Asking things as age color sex weight weight will turn people off. I for one will most likely ignore the person.

Thanks for replying, I've never asked anybody in private chat the things listed below, I ask what their interests are, and usually give alittle about myself. I enjoy chatting with people there age, looks & colour doesn't matter to me. Its just strange people have gone off the boil with chatting, never mind. thanks for taking the time to reply Bobbie.

After an absence of perhaps one month, I find that I cannot connect using my IRC client (mIRC), using either server (darkstar1.tzo.com or otherbackup.hopto.org). Are we now limited to using only the Java client, available from the EA menus?

The darkstar1 computer is having problems and will be replaced this weekend.

If you are using the link from the message board you can get that error. You have to allow the Java program to run.
