Is the burdizzo castration forum gone for good ?

Has anyone else had trouble entering the burdizzo castration forum ? as I no longer get it in my web searches. Has Bill finally given up on it as the donations from members where to small. I used to love visiting this site and Bills. So I am incredibly sorry to see that it has gone...

Yes, seems like it's gone. Too sad. I once posted almost 3000 castration related pics in my albums there. And I had good contact with Bill. Isn't it possible to run a site without it becoming expensive? How do most handle this, do they use commercials and sponsors and pop-ups or what? I remember when Bill only had that eunuch info site, then it was expanded into the forum, and of course I registered!..

If you have a site you must pay for the bandwidth, if you have text only like this site its not as bad as when you have 10,000 pictures. You have other costs as well like your computer equipment etc.

This site is hosted by BME, so it cost us nothing except we still need to upgrade equipment from time to time and that we rely on donations.

Plus there is the time involved to keep a site going. Here we have about a dozen people that help keep this site up.

For one person to do it all and support the pictures you say he had, its an expense and a lot of time.

its a lot of work and i think bill was growing tired of it...i have not been able to communicate with bill either so maybe something else happened

Yes, the site is gone for good.

Bill told me that it was a matter of the site no longer being fun and entertaining. So it seems the site succumbed to the owner simply getting tired of people bitching constantly, which is something moderators have to deal with.

I actually understand this since I'm a moderator of another similar site. You always hear people complaining and it's VERY rare to hear someone tell you, "Thanks, I appreciate your efforts", especially on sites like burdizzocastration and the one I moderate. If we didn't moderate the sites, they would quickly turn into a crappy version of x-tube and most of the content posted would be non-relevant to male body modification, castration, etc.

The users REALLY bitch when they pay for the site (in our case a paltry US $10 per year) and think that money entitles them to post anything they want, which is not the case.

So while I'm sure most users just go with the flow, the reason that burdizzo castration has disappeared is those idiots that always bitched and complained about trivial, minor things. People should keep that in mind.

Anyhow, you now know the answer to, "what happened?"

Damn that is sad I enjoyed the forum alot and talking with Bill and others helped me to be honest more than this site. I just hope that with the others from the forum coming here that the content will continue to grow. (Have seen many from the forum here any way so I guess alot are here)

Hey -Twins- yeah I used to look at your pics some where good, I got all my pics removed too and only the ones of my castration where kept.#

Still life goes on, I only feel sorry for others out there who have the same problem, its nice to be able to meet with like minded people as it shows you your not alone. Lets hope new peeps find this site just as easy.

moderators have to be a dedicated lot to spend the time everyday to approve members and remove spam from their sites...for zero pay

I was getting the feeling bill was growing tired of the work.....the site was getting very quiet as well which always is a bad sign
