I understand that so well, I am allergic to cats, not all cats, mostly Tabby's. yep, Rupert is a tabby and I love him dearly and when ever I pet him or let him sit in my lap, my nose itches and my arms break out so when I put him down its off to wash otherwise I am miserable for hours. And I would not trade him for anything.

I got Rupert as a kitten, he is going to be 10 this summer.

The cats all sleep.

When the weather is on a cooling off swing, they seem more stationary.

Such conservation of mass and energy.

The 🐈 🐈 brothers sleep together as they have all their lives.

:kittygray sleeps on her own but, lately has started joining us on the bed late at night. At her safe distance.

"..................castrated tomcats and rams live longer than those that have not been neutered.

The same applies to people.

A study on eunuchs found they live 13.5 years longer than men who are intact."

But the above quote (from the source below) does not mention the source of the study.

What study, by who, when? I hate it when they don't identify their sources.

Stop smoking, get castrated, live longer. Sounds like a no brainer.

Also sounds like why the government does not want men to get elective castration.

Social Security can't afford to have an increase in the aging male population.

The longer you live, the more cats you can house and feed. (for we all know humans never "OWN" a cat; we are their eunuch servants).

Are the rumors of Rupert true?

There has been a Rupert black out.

You will need to give me more information than that. I have no idea what you are talking about.

I'm finding out black cat's are indeed bad luck. Mine keeps waking me up and insisting on getting me up at 5:00 or so every morning (4:30 this time). And it's been years since I've been having to be do that too.

My little black cat did the same this morning and I got wondering about dawn and dusk being the best hunting time and if it has anything to do with the colour of the cat? :)

All cats were treated with Frontline Plus last night.

When I hold them and get consistently flea bit, I know it is time.

It was also good timing because of the heat coming and its' influence on fleas.

See Weather thread.

OFBK :kittygray has not demonstrated hill meat catches for some weeks.

I know more exist because they scurry around the back grape stake fence near the peach trees.

Izzy 🐈 and Solly 🐈 do their thing. I have taken to letting them out in the morning to munch some grass and 🤮. This habit cuts down on in house incidences.

Solly sometimes goes to one corner of the yard and "sprays". I had not seen him do that before or habitually.
