emotional effects

I'm thinking about chemical castration. Basically, for a lot of reasons I'm convinced that I'll never find another woman. Having no sex drive would obviously make life a lot easier, but would I feel less lonely? What changes other than your sex drive?

You wouldn't feel less lonely. That I can say for sure.

Everyone has some unique reactions to transgender hormones. There just really is not a simple one-size-fits-all answer. A lot depends on you, your age, your physical health, your life situation, and the chemical mix you select. The results generally include a marked loss of libido and a marked loss of ability to perform, but, beyond that, it is difficult to generalize. Some folks have depression, some do not. Many folks have physical changes -- reduction in penis and testicle size, increase in breast size, nipple size, and sensitivity, changes in body hair, shift of adipose tissue to the hips, but, again, it is hard to generalize. Most folks suffer from increased tiredness. Bone loss is a worry.

But the best part is the loss of libido. Today, I was chatting with a rather nice looking lass and never considered her as anythng other than a pleasant person. It is a grand thing to have checked out of the genetic sweepstakes!

This is a repost from another of my replies that I think belongs better here

I will be interested to know how you go with HRT. I finally banded my balls to virtual extinction. No regrets though. My T level dropped to virtually zero and the urologist started me off on Testogel which I didn't do well on. Seemed like I was all over the lot, up one day down the next, memory and concentration poor at times, disorganised, cranky etc. He finally did some tests and found that when the gel was first applied the T level went very high 95 and later went very low so I was on a roller coaster as far as T levels were concerned which I am still recovering from. Believe me it was no joy with the reactions more in the emotional department than the desire department. 😠😠 He put me on to Reandron 1000 which has been a lot better and I am getting back to normal I think or at least a lot better than I was. It took a while

The Reandron is a slow release oily liquid that is injected once every 6-10 weeks and maintains a more even level of T. Its a big injection and a bit painful but worth it. The reaction depends on the individual so for a while I will have blood tests before the next scheduled injection while they sort out the timing volume etc. I don't know how others have fared with HRT but for me this was a real eye opener and not at all what I had expected. and No I didn't feel like a teenager again 🍑👋🍑👋
