Please Take the Survey
I want to thank One2dizzo, who is a member of this board, for designing the new format for my poll. All those handy check boxes and drop-down menus are the result of his handiwork. If you havent done so already, please take the poll.

Copy and paste the results into an email to me

Once again, I want to thank One2dizzo for the format. Visit his site at

...when I hit the submit button, things hung up. Had to terminate AOL and restart AOL to get back to The Eunuch Archives

Re: Please Take the Survey
My guess would be an issue with AOL. I had no problems accessing and submitting the from.
FYI
I'm running Windows 2000 with IE 6 and all the latest patches.

Re: Please Take the Survey
Andrew,
Im sorry the poll messed up your connection. Thats the first complaint Ive had on it. Im going to let that page remain the main poll, but put the scroll boxes back on my web site so if you have trouble with one, maybe the other will work.
I want to thank all those who have responded. Weve had over 30 so far. Im going to put some graphs up on my web site soon. (No personal identifiers of course, just graphs and numbers.)

Re: Please Take the Survey
AOL users --
The survey uses JavaScript 1.2 to process the survey into an output page that can easily be cut and pasted into you favorite email program.
I'm not an AOL customer, so it wasn't possible for me to test the survey and underlying JavaScript with their proprietary browser. I'm told that AOL users can still connect to the internet using the AOL software, but then minimize it and launch another browser to continue surfing.
Is anyone else having trouble with the survey, especialy AOL subscribers? Let me know, so I can analyze whether Andrew's difficulties are a one-of-a-kind thing or more widespread.

Re: Please Take the Survey
The preliminary results are up on my website now.
http://www.geocities.com/gfarrells/
That data is from 30 respondents. We actually have over 40 now and Ill be posting new data by the end of the week. Well need at least 75 or 80 responses to have a viable survey. Half way there after just two weeks!
Thanks again to all who have responded.
