Try this site. There wasn't anything on it about needing a prescription for injectable lignocaine (xylocaine)
Good luck http://www.pharmacyescrow.com
On their site you have to place an order and then have your order reviewed by one of their physicians (for an additional $4.99). They have to have your medical profile on file with them, I guess you fill it out yourself on-line. Having their physicians review your order seems to get around the requirement for providing them with a doctor's prescription. You might have to give a reason for wanting injectable lignocaine (maybe a lot of isolated hiking or something like that ???)
Good luck again. Let me know if this works out.

I was able to buy some bottles of injectable xylocaine from MedicalToys.com http://www.medicaltoys.com/ several years ago, but i just checked, and they can't carry it any longer. They used to supply it for piercing needs.
Fed's cracked down on suppliers of this type of provision (perversion
12Buys (http://www.12buys.com/default.asp) has numbing salves, viscus liquids, and sprays available. No prescription needed.
You might not get deep penetration numbness without wet heat (hot towels), and length of numbness will vary. Use 'Lidocaine' or 'Xylocaine' in their search pane. [ Expl = Xylocaine Topical (Brand) - viscous liqd 2% 125mL (bottle) x 1's By AstraZeneca for $45]
As Kristoff suggested, Chase Union (http://www.chaseunion.com/cat2/index.html) offers (or has offered) injectable Lidocaine 2% with or without epinephrine. The page hasn't been updated in 8 years. Click on the "Call" link and ask.

There are some body, they tell, that the burdizzo-castration don't cause lots of ache. The most explain, that it is enough to use a anaesthetic salve. In germany, where I am from, the most popular salve is "emla-creme". You can buy it in every pharmacy

I agree with Kristoff. Emla-creme will only numb the skin of the scrotum. It will not numb the spermatic cord. A Burdizzo castration using Emla alone would be extremely painful.

The BME Shop occasionally carries Xylocaine injectible which I've successfully ordered before. But their supplies seem to vary. Right now it seems they only have the topical gels.

Have you ever hit your finger with a hammer. Or think about any time you may have pinched some skin. That pain would not come close to burdizzo.
Think if you used a litter of elma-cream you would have little effect. The effect of the cream will not last very long. You need to deaden the pain from the cords being crushed.

A pharmaceutically equivalent anaesthetic is Prilocaine (trade name Citanest) It is available at www.pharmacyescrow.com.
I have not ordered from them before - good luck...
