Great Job KA
I have read all of your resent stories (Marriage Issues, Just Married, New Life) and have enjoyed everyone of them. Please keep writing.

Re: Great Job KA
Hey, I've just registered. Thanks for all the comments guys... You know, for all the things I've ever written, I've rarely got such positive responses as to these stories. Well, my flu is almost over and I'll need to have some actual work done... But hopefully I'll get to write something again in the future.
Again, thanks.
Again, thanks.

Re: Great Job KA
If there are mods around here... I've submitted a two-part story around 5 days ago (Scalp part 1 and 2). Any reason why it's still hanging in the air?

Re: Great Job KA
I don't think so. Both parts came with tags, paragraphs, were well written (I believe), on topic and with no other violations, like external links. Actually the story doesn't differ in style from the other ones I've written recently.
So I'm really, REALLY puzzled as to why would it be rejected. Please give me some answer (not a non-answer). There's been so few stories lately that whoever rejected it, must remember the reason.

Re: Great Job KA
If you posted more than one part in the same 24 hour period like you did today, they probably both got trashed out of hand for that reason.
The only exception to this is a 'trusted author', or a bunch of "Anon" author stories.

Re: Great Job KA
WTF? You punish authors for writing more?
Look, I understand you people have other things to take care about than just approve stories, but don't you think this is unreasonable? First thing, splitting any longer text into chapters is natural and only positive for readers (in comparison to one long bunch of text). Second, I don't know about you, but I don't submit the story immediately after I type the last character. I go back, read the whole thing and make edits where needed, so it's just sensible that the previous chapters wait in queue until I'm satisfied with them. Actually I often start writing in the middle and finish the first paragraph as the last thing.
At least you could mention that 'rule' in your guidelines.
Oh. And thanks again to anyone who's sending their feedback!

The rule HAS been posted - several times. The rule is there so that mods are not overwhelmed. There are many more stories submitted than are posted. All get some degree of review; it takes time, which is precious. When someone slams us with multiple chapters and then bitches that it doesn't appear immediately, it gets some push back. The rule is there for good reason and will remain.
I am happy to hear that you review and edit your stories. Most "authors" do not. Many of them are difficult to read since they are typed one-handed. Most of those don't get too far.
Re: Great Job KA
If you don't care for the guidelines, then go post your stuff to Nifty.
I posted something there once - or rather, tried to.
If you think these guidelines (which you apparently didn't read very closely) are a bitch, just try posting with them or some of the other sites.
I do have to admit, they may have changed policy since then, however. I don't look at them anymore.
Also, no one is being "punished" for writing "more". It's hardly too much to ask that you at least wait for one story or chapter to appear before submitting another one, or flooding the holding tank.
