Re: Director Apologizes for BATTLEFIELD EARTH
I don't remember thinking it was as bad as say Istar or Plan 9 from Space. But yes, it like so many SciFi movies didn't do anything for me... Anyway what about my all time favorite worst SciFi Movie ever "Green Slime"
MUSIC "When will you get it in your head? Will you believe it when your dead? GREEN SLIME!!! Naa Naa Naa Da da da GREEN SLIME!!! Voooop!"
I think most of the writers must have been shot many years ago since all most everything on the screen and TV is rewarmed over crap. They should find real writers and pay them some money instead of having this current crop of unwatchable crap shown endlessly.
In particular rewarned old TV shows made into movies. An idea thats not all bad if the original TV show was any good but HOW ABOUT HAVING THE WRITERS SEE THE TV SHOW BEFORE WRITING THE SCRIPT!?!?
The last Star Trek for example which was a very good Star Wars movie...

Better her clitoris in her throat than in the movie TEETH where a young woman has a biting "ouch" clit - lol

Re: Director Apologizes for BATTLEFIELD EARTH
I suppose my petition proclaiming "Battlefield Earth" to be a great piece of Science Fiction wouldn't go far here

Re: Director Apologizes for BATTLEFIELD EARTH
MacWolf, it was not great Sci-Fi, It was not even a good movie, it had nothing, it was a piece of trash. But like so many Sci-Fi films of the past that were so bad, it has good company, most had no budget to speak of and this one was no different. They knew what they had to start so did not spend the money to make a good movie but just enough money to make a movie.
