I plan on keeping my sac afterwards, but thats more due to the mods that I plan on having done before the castration. My current goal is full subincision, and scrotal split with many different piercings

I agree with you, A-1. What other method lets you either keep your testicles as trophies for those that like to show off
, or for the curious and kinky at heart be able to cook and eat them
.

I have seen the pictures and Know that is what I want.

Encourage him to have his testicles removed by a local vet if possible. I had my husband done about 20 years ago when I started having lesbian relationships and we have been delighted with the result.

Are vets allowed to do that? I thought that they are only licensed to operate on animals.

Re: Elastricating Testes
vets certainly do not castrate men normally, but when one is a friend - all things are possible!

Well yes vets can do it for you, but they can get in trouble for doing it. If something goes wrong they can face charges.
Check the current thread Castrations can go wrong (http://www.eunuch.org/vbulletin/showthr ... eadid=1076), and you will see that the charge of "practicing medicine without a license" is something that the prosecutor can charge, even if the castration was consensual.

I didn't realize the burdizzo was that unreliable. I would for sure recommend the surgical procedure but as we have seen recently in Michigan there are potentially hazzards involved with that technique for sure. It would be great if there was an 'unofficial' illustrated manual or guide to removing the testes. There are definitely pros and cons to each technique but all that info is never located in one place. perhaps this could even include tips on safety and how to know when to go to the hospital because something is wrong.

YES, the best placed plans of mice and men often go astray.
After 5 years coming in here and BME reading stories, experiences adding my own with pictures, seeing what when wrong the other night and knowing no harm was intended reconfirms that my decision to use a Doctor for castration is the only choice for me.
Surgery is set for Sept 6th, film at 11.

Actually, there are several guides to removing the testicles. Many surgical texts are available through order at your favorite bookstore. Castration is actually a very common surgical procedure, with many urologists performing up to three per week! This is because testosterone is a serious promoter of cancer growth, and therefore castration (chemical or surgical) is still standard practice.

Re: Elastricating Testes
cool, i will look for one- I guess part of the trouble with posting info like this in a permanent place is that when bad stuff happens the fingers get pointed in to the source. As bBoy stated that EA 'recommends' that castrtion be done by medical proffessionals, which is definitely a good policy.

Re: Elastricating Testes
I still recommend that people see a professional to have it done. However I know there are a number of people myself included that would prefer some other method besides going to the doctor.
Although I prefer using the safest method available, and will not attempt anything without a close friend on hand incase things go wrong. I've been trying to research everything I can find with regards to castration. I want to know the risks, proper methods, and what I can do to make it happen without many problems.
