You can not even protect your Social Security Number.
Solution, never leave your name and address with anybody and only pay cash.

My local community college use to use your Social Security Number as your student ID. Then one fall semester I wrote an article about the dangers of giving the number out and the next school year they went and issued new ID cards for all the students with random numbers. Even the roster for each class had your legal name and social security number on it.

I think this spy software is unreal. Why are these people not in jail? I also find the common use of social security numbers to be really annoying. Have you ever asked a bank, credit card company etc WHY they insist on knowing this? I was taught it was for one thing only. And that we don't have a national ID system. Frankly I'm glad of this!

Best answer to this would be to accuse whoever was responsible with distribution/acquiring child porn. (Do I understand correctly that high school ages are between 13-18?)
With modern laws and attitudes... Or am I too cruel?
PS. Webcam usually has indicator,
The FBI has opened an investigation into this one and the Washington Post (at least) has raised the issue of child pornography. T
The network administrators should be sued for negligence for letting others have the access codes. Anyone who used them should be charged with downloading child porn.
I hope they all loose thier jobs, get registered as sex offenders and are kept from having contact with minors for life. I would also like to see some jail time. Many parents are in prison. I bet they can show thier own special type of love for pedophiles.

They should not have put the webcams on those computers to begin with. Some punishment is definately warranted.micropenis (imported) wrote: Mon Feb 22, 2010 8:42 pm The network administrators should be sued for negligence for letting others have the access codes. OMG The use of SSN as id is a violation of federal law. When SS was created in the '30s, the law expressly stated that the SSN was NEVER to be used as a form of id. If anyone with legal training had ever seen your article, there would have been grounds for an enormous class action suit.

They put webcams on school laptops so that students may chat and see visual aids live with instructors. Sometimes a little extra help and a diagram or two can make a lot of difference to a student.
I think the answer may be that only the insurance carrier should have access to the tracking software. The codes for each computer should be unique and kept sealed until a unit is reported missing.
I always knew when I was in school that many of our teachers were pedophiles. I had a biology teacher who was famous for harrasing young girls. Even after many formal written complaints the school did nothing. Most gym teachers were gay and enjoyed watching the guys shower after class. Several teachers were alcoholics and or drug dependant. One used his position to fence stolen goods.
Some things never change.

How about making them ALL have sex with the Superintendent...
...oh. Wait. what's that you say? ...they already did that?
...nevermind...

THE WEEK magazine just said that the 15 year old boy was accused of taking drugs.
The boys says he was in his room eating "Mike'n'Ike" candy.

It really does not matter if the kid was smoking hashish with a hooka. They have NO BUSINESS whatsoever 'bugging' their homes without a search warrant and for that you have to have probable cause and even then ONLY law enforcement can do it.
The laws that were violated here are federal wiretap statues (http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/intel/98-327.pdf).
There is NO way out of this one. Somebody here has their BREAST in the MAYTAG... big-time... somebody will go to jail over this or at least the school corporation will be out of a million or so dollars...when the FBI investigates this sort of thing somebody ALWAYS does time over it. I have seen it happen before.
