I thought that would be easy - 9km...55-60minutes, same time as using public transit, without straining. I was wrong... First 15 minutes - no problem.. At 40minutes I understood that may be that was the wrong thing to do. I arrived home at about 55 minutes, totally drained.
That surprises me, as I opened rollerskating season 4 days ago, and already went home from work in this way - I felt a bit tired that time (and ached all over the next day), but that was all.
Despite low T is contributing factor I think the other important factor is lack of training. You probably haven't been rollerskating for about half a year if I am correct with local weathers in your hometown.
I have experienced something similar with starting bicycle season
Felt weak and exhausted for a week, gradually improving.
