Erections and Chemical Castration
I have been taking 100mg Androcur daily since July last year.
Reasonably quickly, when I woke up during the night or in the morning, I would only occasionally have a slight soft erection.
However, about 2 weeks ago, I woke up with a very hard erection - 5 inches, whereas previously I was 6 inches. Since that time I have woken up with a semi hard erection on 3 or 4 occasions. It felt so odd to be completely hard, even if I was 1 inch shorter.
- has anyone else experienced this situation after more than 6 months?
- should I go on a higher dose of Androcur? I am really after an unresponsive dick.
Thanks.

Re: Erections and Chemical Castration
At some point during my first year on CA, I started noticing an occasional hard erection. I was taking 50mg of Siterone and increased it to 125mg. After several months I went back to 50mg. I would say that the increase in dosage did decrease the erections; however, since then I noticed them occurring very rarely, maybe twice. The occur with a rare sexual dream. I think that they happen only if I've been without sex for several months.

You most likely did not shut down your hormones. Even an eunuch can get erection. I get a few times over night or likely in the morning. I have been castrated for over 4 years. Was on androcur a few years before.

I concur with the above. Erections can still happen even with very low levels of T.

Siterone has caused my night erections to cease and I have no desire to manually generate an erection. However, just out of curiosity, on a few occasions I have tried to manually induce an erection, without success. My hard drive has turned into a floppy disk. At least you can't break a floppy disk. It's a pretty pathetic site watching an attempt to turn a floppy into a hard drive. But at least I am not disappointed and have no feelings of longing for a hard drive or missing one. Being unsexed has it's advantages.
But who knows, maybe the little bugger will rise to the occasion when I least expect it.

To paraphrase someone else who wrote in at some point in time, one gets to the point of asking oneself, "why bother?"

There is also the philological factor. Erections can be mentally induced. Just thinking about some things could get an erection with out physical contact. That can happen in reverse. Your underling desire not to have an erection can also reduce or prevent the errection. The fact that levietra works shows you can still get an erection.
How do you know that you do not get an erection over night. Waking up when you get an erection is not a way to tell. Most men have several erections every night with out knowing it. 4-5 times a night is not out of reason. To really know if you get an erection you need a physical stimulus to wake you when you are hard. Nocturnal erection are not unheard of when castrated.

Thanks guys for your comments.
Looks like I am stuck with the occasional hard erection, and more frequent soft erections.
In any case, it is so much better/enjoyable/comfortable being soft most of the time.

Re: Erections and Chemical Castration
I just found this documentation on Siterone and it has caused me to reconsider my personal dosage and what others might consider.
http://www.unitedpharmacies.com/custome ... ductid=726
I will be increasing my dose to 2 tabs three times a day for at least a month but no longer than three months then cutting back to 2 tabs two times a day for awhile.
I was unaware of the warning to avoid being in the sun while taking the drug or consumption of alcohol will diminish the effects of the drug. Glad to have found additional factual information that I can pass on.

So that is why I got sunburned so fast last summer.
