If you mean the American Immigration and Naturalization thingie,

That job history is probably an effort to document you have reasons to return to Russia and not overstay your visa. It is a system where the applicant is guilty until proven innocent. So if you are a single Thai lady, forget it. Even if you have property, own a business, extended family.

When I was trying to help my wife's friends family visit, it took two tries. It almost seemed they needed to leave one family member in Russia to prove they would return.

I know some Tadjiks who get around the problem by visiting Mexico first and going to the Embassy there and requesting an American visitors visa. Once you have a good visa history, it gets easier.

I hear it works for Canada into America too.

Your six months starts upon entry into America but you have a limited time to enter.

Broke out without injury to anyone, being locked up on a parole violation for a couple more years.

I say we give him a pass for good entertainment and just fail to pursue. Like the cow that makes an unbelievable dash for freedom from the slaughterhouse and subsequently granted a pardon.

I Wonder

If I stay under an electric blanket safe in my bed at 6 AM, will the EMF of the electric blanket magnetosphere those charged particles around me? Those that get through?

I think the real question is why do you need an electric blanket? It does not get cold were you live. It does get cold here were I live and I don't even have an electric blanket.

So what do you do? turn off the heat in your house and open all the windows?
