River,
It ain't the secrets.
It is the hoax.

gareth19 (imported) wrote: Mon Jun 06, 2011 6:51 pm A number of people wrote about Kennedy after his death, and at least one stated that Jacqueline Kennedy specifically asked him to suppress certain facts. She was a zealous promoter of the Kennedy legacy, and such uncomfortable facts as the President's medical infirmities might not have squared with the image they were trying to project.
After Custer was killed, a number of unpleasant facts about the dead were suppressed out of "respect" for Custer's widow, and a number of officers made it clear that once Mrs. Custer went to her reward fuller information would be forthcoming. Unfortunately, Mrs. Custer outlived all of the commissioners who investigated the battle and they never got the opportunity to lay blame on Custer's foolhardy behavior.
Similarly, embarrassing details about Scott's Antarctic expedition were suppressed out of respect for his widow. While this behavior now strikes us as irresponsible, it was fairly common at the time. JFK's back problems were irrelevant; the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head. That these details were not made available in 1963 is only surprising to people who expect to you-tube post-mortem pictures of Heath Ledger or Michael Jackson. There once was a time when the privacy of the dead and their families were respected, if only for a brief time after death.

Some as passes for Science can be faith based. I always had faith Neanderthal interbred with moderns. Now Science sez I was right all these decades.
AND
I say, or wonder, if the mounds were about flood shelters.
Riverwind (imported) wrote: Tue Jun 07, 2011 5:03 am Of course I can tell, but is me bitching about it going to give us truth?
OK, I will play along,
WHO Killed JFK,
Possible answers.
LBJ or more likely his wife.
Castro,
Nikita Khrushchev
The Mob
A lone gunman.
CIA
FBI
other
and the Answer is most likely
The Mob.
Why did they fake the autopsy reports.
Think back, this was still 50's thinking even though it was 1963, things did not start changing until the anti war protest of the late 60's and 70's.
They were protecting the image of the Kennedy at the Kennedy's request. They were after all the first family and Joe was still alive and well at that time. MONEY kept things quiet.
How do I come up with this, cold logic.
Does it matter? NO, do I care? Not really. Should I care? NO, (for this reason, does it effect me in any way one way or the other, NO) Is this taking way to much of my time and energy? Absolutely.

Were the ancient mound builders of the Mississippi valley trying to build flood shelters?
