I also want nullification. However, I have to find a way so that my doctor will say that removal is necessary and it can be performed by a qualified surgeon under my medical plan.

If it is a penectomy you want, your best bet would be some surgeons in Thailand. Shall I post some links?

Why is there a stigma for these operations? A few reasons that I can see. Being castrated or having a penectomy leaves one 'less than a man' by Western society, and is a subject of much derision, scorn, and fear.

Also, historically, the doctors performing these operations have been men, and these operations have hit a tender spot with most of them.

Plus, these are generally the same people that will struggle for years, against all hope or reason, to keep you alive, no matter how much pain & misery you are in.

IEunuch.

(Doctors suck.)Will that attitude change with the advent of more women doctors? Will they be more willing to remove a man's penis and testicles?

...well, I think that malpractice fear is contributing to this reluctance.

Yes Allison,

We agree, LOL, thatย’s a first, it is easer for women to have all the changes you said, but like IEunuch said there is the fear, scorn, etc. for us. Some day maybe the medical community will get it together and come up with a plan. I know this group could offer many suggestions and I am sure that some would be acceptable. On the other had remember the group we are talking about. NUTS

It won't ever happen.

The male dominated field of medicine is like a boy's club in many ways.

Would you expect a bunch of boys to close their own playground?

I am afraid that this is what it amounts to, with all appropriate respect.
