From these reviews today, and 105 hits in the last hour alone, I can't wait to read it!

OK, now I've read it.

All I can say is, 'wow', what an ending! Looks like they all live happily ever after, after all.

And one last reminder - it's FICTION.

Well done, Anon!

After lurking and reading here I think before the connection to BME I finally decided to join so I could comment on this story for being so well written and such a romp. Yeah so kidnapping, murder, child abuse, are bad no shit. But this was a great read and I am personally very grateful that the Author finished it after all the criticism. I worked in the child abuse industry and have sent people to prison for doing a fraction of these things but that does not mean that I cannot enjoy fantasy about all sorts of things that I would abhore in real life. That is the point.

I lived much of my life thinking that the thoughts and fantasies I had were unique to me and somehow I was really bad for having those thoughts. Fortunately I had a counselor who suggest I go to a bookstore and a bar in Boston and I quickly realized as I devoured magazines and books and went to new locations that I was not alone. That was 1989 or so and shortly thereafter I began to be on the internet and finding groups which eventually addressed all my interests and let me gain peace with myself. I hope that these stories can be enjoyed in that light as well as just being a fun romp. My job showed me that there are in fact a few really evil people in the world but that most are just mucking by and some make stupid decisions(not just the ones in Washington eh) and hurt others they often care about and themselves. I seriously doubt that these stories would make a difference in either of these circumstances. I also need to reiterate that the bulk of the child abuse in this country is perpetrated by family not strangers(and I would weakly argue that Mr Poore was a stranger when this started).

At any rate I have enjoyed any number of wonderful stories by some great and not so great authors on this and other sites. This has been one of the better written and thought out ones and again I hope to see more of this FICTION. Pax

A time for the 'cooling off' of this story line as passed and I wish to offer some comments.

TO the Author. You are, indeed, a literary genius. I hope that you will, in the future, provide us with new stories that are products of your vast literary talent.

TO Paolo. Thanks, bud, for understanding my intentions in my literary criticisms and taking all of this in stride, ferreting out my intent and your wise and keen observation that I was not attacking the author.

TO all readers and to those who participated in the discussion. THANKS! :D

Keep in mind that this was a well-written fantasy. Have NO guilt feelings about your feelings over it, and try to understand that in the real world, as Paolo observes, sometimes bad things happen but that does NOT have to dictate what will happen in the future.

OK…with nine pages of comments, this story is definitely an attention grabber. And whoa…can A.Nony.Mous spin a story! It’s captivating, full of intrigue…and, albeit a bit ‘over-the-top’, still relatively believable. After all curiosity has landed more than one young kid in a heap of trouble! I’ve only read about half but I’d say it’s worth at least three nuts up on the table to slash, stash or smash as you see fit…and maybe even a bit more!

Tad

PS: Fiction perhaps…but really, how many were keeping an eye peeled for “neck tan-lines” at the mall?!? 🚬

I don't think any other story has received as many comments as this story. It is a good read.

I love this series but what happened to it? I can't find it in the archives.
