Part 18 was well worth the wait. I, prsonally, would like for Scott to be found somewhere disoriented, dazed, with vague memories of his "kidnapping" and returned to his home. Then, with the "death" of Ben, completely lose touch with himself in grief and lose all memory of what transpired during his pre-abduction days at the Poorer home. And I would love to see that Ben/Landen gets his desires in the operations depts. , that is recircumcised tighter and then castrated. That way he and Canyon would really be twins. The full nullification of both boys would be a plus. Then after the operations, the whole family disappears "somewhere".

Ah, well. Just my musings.

Or perhaps no bodies were found and we only think that somebody died.

Maybe they all are on their way to the Middle East...

Joe said he was standing near the gas main, and "there's not much left of him" or something like that. He was also planting evidence, remember? Maybe he had a fake skull or made some teeth or something for the "dental records".

Given the nature of the story, I seriously doubt if this "cult of daddies" would just snag a kid and murder him. That doesn't fit with the characterization so far.

Alas, I forsee troubles on the horizon. In 18 ( I think) Mr. Anwar was being watched at the airport so could not be involved with the explosion of Ben/Landen's house.

Who is to say what with him being Arabian, he might be under surveillance anyway. This could lead to the breakup of Mr. Poorer and the boys. That is unless they go to England now that Landen has dual citizenship. I don't think anything good can come from shipping Scott/Jimmy off with Mr. Anwar, only sudden downfall.

Glad that Landen did get circumcised like he wanted. Hopefully, he will opt for castration also before the end so he will be "exactly" like Camyon.

Ah, well, it is a fantastic story.

This story is set in the late 1970's or early 1980's. The author said it was before CD's were introduced and Ben watched an episode of St. Elsewhere. CD's were introduced in 1982 and St. Elsewhere started the same year.

Good catch, CG.

The first CD's didn't hit stores here until 1985, when Dire Straits "Brothers in Arms" became the first big-selling album on CD.

And I used to just adore St. Elsewhere.
