I really like many of your stories, and I like the thoughts that inspire them. Some of them are just great!

This one, i.e. on the "Boy Scouts" was well, it just personally didn't do it for me. I guess part of the problem is that I think the scouting program is one of the great hopes for America and your story just has it wrong in my opinion. I'll leave it at that. Anyway, just wanted you to know and I hope, in the future, you can leave the scouts out of it.

I that I have to confess to writing 'Boy Scouts', based on an idea by Erik.

The simple modern nature of the story is actually a departure from my normal works, which are often in some way based on fact. However, it was composed to meet a friend's fancy & is, of course, entirely fictional & not meant to be a deliberate slur on the scouting movement or, indeed, the boys of Western Australia!

I don't contend that there's any special literary or other merit in the tale, which is only reproduced at eunuch.org in case there are others who might be interested in the storyline.

Consider it a type of 'pulp fiction', which one can take or leave, & no more.

Unless I am sadly mistaken, your latest story, Paolo, is "Malcolm's Lost Middle." If I am mistaken, then I'm sorry, I'm in the wrong forum.

But if I am right, then I enjoyed the story. It made me REALLY REALLY angry at the Mom, and I would have added something to give her what she deserved (Dunno what that is, but I would think of something). Nevertheless it was a killer story. Too bad about little Dewey, but on the other hand he might have come out better off than any of them

The link leads right to the proper story about Malcolm, not the Boy Scout story. Why do so many people seem to think that I wrote that one? Pueros is the Author of Boy Scouts, not me.

Yes, 'Malcolm...' is my latest story; well, it was a group effort, actually, but they laid the blame on ME.
