Yes, most of which you have apparently not read if you mistake the Neolithic for the Younger Dryas. The 2009 book doesn't appreciably change the Blytt-Sernander climatic sequence, which in fact was established in the early twentieth century. (Unlike television shows, some scientific conclusions endure for centuries. The acceleration of falling objects is the same as that measured by Galileo; the dust mites seen by Hooke are the same species we can see today). The only real change has been a more precise dating of events thanks to dendrochronological and varve calibrations of radiocarbon dates.

The speculations about a meteor/comet impact triggering the Younger Dryas is the most recent idea, but not one that is universally accepted. What is now universally accepted is that the Younger Dryas is the result of a temporary freshwater disruption of the heat transfer patterns in the North Atlantic and thus an entirely local phenomenon that did not affect the South Atlantic, the Indian, the Arctic or the Pacific Oceans and their climatic zones. Global means the entire globe.

Hardly Five Months Later and

It's Blizzard Season Again.

Whereas the Hurricane season has been nearly absent so far,

Blizzard Season is starting early and strong. This fits the model of Global Warming, trust Moi.
