This one is more northerly and seems to promise EA Central 12" of snow before

moving on to snow on both sides of Mac's state, and snow or sleet or cold rain on to

DaveLand and BobTown.

Please report in.

Especially to let us know if you can't get online. ;)

Today they say we will get 2" to 4" and 1" to 3" tomorrow, no big deal if the weather keeps getting warmer as it has been it will be gone in a few days, what we have now has been melting at a nice rate, good for the ground and those plants under it that need it so much plus the more sub zero days we get the smaller the critter problem in the summer. So all in all its a good thing, I have not put salt or used a magnifying glass on one of those pesky snails in years. Of course Moi goes out in the dead of night and picks them up, puts them in this big cage he made for them and feeds them cornmeal (because you always use corn to fatten up the meat your about to harvest) then. Oh its just like the lobster (have you ever noticed how much they look like a cockroach) :D you boil them, ask Moi, he will tell you how to cook them up just right. (goes great as finger food when smoking a bong)

As they say in France - Bon Appetit. 🙏

So, River, that's why GOD gave women legs...

So moi could not catch them by following their slime trail...

HEY moi! Come to the Midwest. We have already fattened up most of them...

If its going to snow 2 to 4 inches today it better hurry because the only thing its done today is give us a very light sprinkle of snow, not even enough to cover my steps, then a little breeze came by and its was gone. This happens, they say rain or snow then the wind blows another direction and we miss it all. I think its the rivers the Mississippi and St Croix, the storms hit them and go around.

My weather reporting thing says no snow until Wednesday, it was Tuesday, then Tuesday night, now it's Wednesday.

All of a sudden today it was 12 inches, now the warnings are for 2 inches.

The big warnings are for the Allegheny Mountains (New Stanton, Somerset & Johnstown, and then Presston COunty in WV and that funky bit of Maryland that is all this way west.

And 37 degrees Wednesday and Thursday. I think the storm is weakening.

Just wait a bit, River. It IS coming - a range of predictions 4-12". It'll likely be an 18 hour snow fall. I won't be driving in it at least - truck's in for repairs - I crashed this noon into a center barrier coming out of a spin. Body shop already has that part fixed. Now the mechanic and an alignment, then back in business. While they're fixing I'll be home moving a lot of snow.

I think its time to move to a warmer place, a place that does not get much if any snow, stays warm year round, yea right.

Go West River, Go West.

If YOU go South, there is the flip side of snow, humidity. 🥴

Amazing how fog is nice and humidity make me feel like I am drowning, or maybe just water boarded.

Moi

Way, way, wayyyy off in the distance, I see mountains with snow.

There is humidity in California, The BIG VALLEY, thinking Barbara Stanwyck where the humidity is no worse or better then the south, I have lived in both places and a little humidity is OK if its followed by a rain. I lived in and just outside Bangkok for 4 months years ago and the humidity would get up to 100% by about 3pm each day, then the blue sky would turn black, thunder, lightning, pore ass rain for 30 minutes, rained about 3 inches, look up the sky was blue again the water on the ground you could see evaporating back into the sky where it could then start its build up to rain again. It rained every day I was there, love it.

I measured 9 inches new snow in my back yard and it is still snowing. I can get the all wheel drive van out of my yard but not the front wheel drive one. --FLO--
