Moving your testicles

Post by Zoroaster (imported) »

So here's a question: is it possible to remove someone's testicles from their scrotum and transplant them elsewhere in the body? This would obviously cause sterility, but from what (little) I understand, the increase in heat shouldn't stop testosterone production.

I ask this because I want my balls gone, but don't want any loss in masculinity. This would solve my problem pretty well without having to worry about hormonal therapy. That, and I keep getting kicked in the balls at my soccer games...

There is a main concern for relocating the testies else where say into the body cavity and that is off increased risk of testicular cancer wther that is or can be medically proven i do not know maybe someone can find out or has the proof.

As for the

There is an operation to seal the testicles inside the body cavity (like ovaries).

Here is a URL that talks about a male-to-female transexual who kept her testicles inside her body:

http://www.annelawrence.com/meettess.html

The disadvantage of this technique is unknown risk of testicular cancer.

What a coincidence...story posted today talking about just this!

Anyway, the problem with wearing a cup in soccer is that they're really hard to run in and start chafing quickly. They also screw up your aim when you try to shoot because your thighs don't move where you expect them to.

I don't know if the Tess thing would work for what I'm looking for, however. The page says they put her testicles just under the skin, which wouldn't really help much. I was thinking more interior to the body, like up in the abdominal cavity or something.

I have read that in cases where a guy looses his scrotum due to some accident, they can temporarily relocate his "nude" testicles to inside his thighs.

This is an OLD, ANCIENT thread. Still it's worth noting, that while there is no evidence that internalized nuts would CAUSE testicular cancer, the real issue would be that IF one developed cancer, diagnosis of the cancer would be difficult, and probably late due to not being able to palpitate (feel) the surface of the nuts from all around the way you can through the nice thin scrotum.

I believe the person with the testicles suthered up in the inguinals has yearly sonograms to look for Testicular Cancer. Avoiding THAT is a good idea because its a pretty serious type of cancer and often spreads quite fast.

What would be the difference between testicles or ovaries then? Would you have a higher risk of testicular cancer than a woman has for ovarian cancer? As a side note, ovarian cancer is often fatal since it is rarely detected early. Or you could reduce the risk in half by removing one testicle and just moving one inside the abdomen.
