Does "yes" mean "on" or "off"??? Or, does it mean "either on or off"??? I'd vote for "off," but it's not clear which choice that would be....

You ask us to choose "on" or "off", but you only provide "yes" or "no" as answers.

Essentially this is an irrelevant bit of fun, but from the number of posts it is obvious that some people worry about it, far more than they should.

For that reason, I say leave them turned off.

It's not a perfect system, but I think you will find that there is a consensus among the folks who have been here a while, and these are the folks who tend to have hight reputation points. If some one is asking advise about DIY castration... well let's say alcohol injection for instance,

I think the reputation points can serve a purpose. I'd like to see them turned back on but only for the parts of the forum that are relevant to castration, being a eunuch, gender issues and so on. Nothing related to politics, humor or computers...

Please turn them back on. They help to document the dedication of the member. 💥

I voted to turn the rep points back on as a guide for new members. As I stated in another reputation thread when I was a newbie I would give more credence to advice from a member with many reputation points than I might with another newbie with a low rep. Of course I have a lot of rep points so that may shoot a hole in my argument.😄
