First off, "castration" in its original meaning was the removal of the gonads in either male or female.
Female castration...the removal of the overies...is in fact a common operation in the USA once a woman approaches menopause, and sometimes earlier. Exact numbers are hard to come by, because many a "routine" hysterectomy also includes the removal of the overies, too often without informing the woman that this was going to happen, and not being mentioned much in the medical report.
Want to be castrated? Talk to a gynecologist about "female problems". Complain about heavy bleeding, cramps, PMS etc. and lay it on thick. Ask for a hysterectomy with overectomy and you can probably get it.
Once castrated, you will find your libido reduced or eliminated, depending on how much testosterone your adrenal glands are pumping out.
