SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico โ Police say a U.S. tourist who was pretending to be surfing on the hood of a friend's moving car was killed when he fell and broke his neck in a popular Puerto Rican beach town.
Police spokeswoman Yolanda Hernandez says 29-year-old Long Beach, New York, resident Jorge Geysel fell off his friend's Isuzu Trooper as he was "car surfing" along a road in the west coast community of Rincon early Saturday.
Hernandez says the insurance salesman died instantly.
It was not clear how fast the car was traveling.
Hernandez says she can't yet say whether Geysel's two companions will face any criminal charges.

Even if there was a policy in force I'm fairly certain such activity might preclude a payout. At the very least someones checking to see if there's a way not to pay.
Ironic that the Darwin nominee is, pardon was in insurance. He should have known the risks better then anyone.
Ah well

In Germany, at least, there is "S-Bahn Surfen" which involves riding illegally on the outside of commuter trains. Many kids who might have lived into their nineties are killed this way. It's just another example (like texting while driving) of how -- and I'm not kidding, this is psychologically demonstrated -- teenagers don't yet have fully developed a part of the brain that has to do with risk assessment.

All kidding aside, the brains of teens really aren't fully developed and that is why they think that they are immortal and indestructible.
And then there's JACKASS, the TV show.

This show should be at the very least honorably mentioned for more than a few Darwin Awards, shouldn't it?
As for the "male stars" of this show, I'm pretty sure there was an episode where each of them tried to donate sperm and most of them were denied as donors due to their low sperm count or something to that affect, I think.
Which is kind of a pretty good thing, isn't it?

Yes, it is a demonstrable fact that all of the members of the previous presidential admininistration lacked the ability to do any but the most rudimentary form of risk assessment.
