Reduced hormone levels can cause some short-term memory loss issues. Of course, some of us are blonde. I've not heard of reduced hormone levels causing headaches.

I did quite a few injections into the testes earlier on in the year and then stopped, recently I had started to get a dull ache in them so I saw my doctor and went for an ultrasound they ended up finding "shadows" on both my testicles and asked if I had hurt them at all, consequently I have now been referred on to an urologist, I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar position, if so what happened when you saw the urologist and what is the "shadowing"?

Darkening in an x-ray represents thicker tissue. (to be precise, more radio-opaque but that technical description is confusing)

Where you injected has caused tissue damage and the scar tissue left behind shows on the x-ray as a shadow. So that's the damage you caused.

I would bet if you asked the urologist if those shadows were cancer, he would ask for a tissue sample.

Well I have injected almost a full pint of everclear over the last 2 years and after several Dr. visits and ultrasounds and a year on HRT I can not convince my Specialist that my dead testicles need to be removed due to my fear of them turning cancerous. I have even changed my approach telling her I have to take pain killers just to get through the day, and she just says take the pills. I am going to start seeing a different Dr. to see if I can get someone to see it as a risk.

If anyone has a magic word I can use I would love to have it to get these little hard lumpy nuts removed.

You may try to tell them that your brother and or uncle has had cancer of the nuts and it runs in the family

I wonder if you could please mental anguish over the fear of cancer? Something along the lines of the fear making you have troubles concentrating, doing daily tasks etc....ask if he can GUARANTEE they aren't cancerous and won't become so. Willing to face a malpractice suit if they do (although threats probably aren't a great idea for any doctor you need to see ongoing).

Just throwing out some ideas...I haven't discussed my atrophied balls with a doctor (from needing to be on Testosterone not from alcohol injections). To be honest I'm not sure if hormone related atrophy can make them cancerous or dead. How can you tell the difference between dead or dormant?

Hi, i have tried to put 1cc of Balkan176, 176 proof in my right teste but i have failed again. No blood this time, but when i have put some drops in my testicle, i felt a growing pain and this has scared me and i retired the needle. I support the pain so well, because i have a big tatoo in my left rib, and i have received in the past photodepilation in my face and laser too without say nothing (only some teardrops xD), but this injection was so painful, not bearable and has last about 30 seconds. I don't know if this is normal and yes, i have read all thread . I doubt if perhaps i hit the epididymis, because the lenght of the needle is 1.2 cm and my testes are 2 cm of thick.

I dont't know, i'll try to do tomorrow or so, although i will pray tonight ( as always) and ask to work these little drops, searching a miracle.

P.D: And well, i want to say that i know to put the injection in the correct site, avoiding the red lines (in my right scrotum are a lot of these, is almost imposible to find a white spot, but in the left teste are more area to put the needle) and with a lot of patience, but my testicles are small and the next time i'll put the needle in the centre of the teste, no more far.

The needle must be inside the testicle close to the center of the testicle. I had no pain to speak of just the needle poke, and some discomfort after the injection.
